Wow what a great list. God I am so hungry right now. Wished I could get hold of any
of the below listed food.

If not all Nigerians I would say 90% of Nigerians living abroad miss most of the food in this list. Although everyone has a particular delicacy they enjoy the most, like for me I love Banga Soup and Starch, I know you would wonder why?, well am from Southern part of Nigeria.

1. Pounded Yam and Egusi Soup

Pounded yam is incomplete without Egusi soup – melon soup. Pounded yam is made by boiling yam and pounding it,
it is a daily serving for the Tiv man of Benue State. Therefore, to include the original owners of pounded yam and the producer/exporters of over 70% of the yams exported to all of the country from Benue as “some tribes also like it” is very limiting, and some other Nigerian tribes also love this delicious delicacy.

2. Tuwo Sinkafa

Tuwo Shinkafa is one of the most delicious foods in the Northern part of Nigeria. Tuwo is made by soft rice and spicy sauce. The Hausa tribes love this food and that is why most of them living abroad miss it so much.
